AND it is devoid of the ingredients which make fragrance toxic (formaldehyde and petroleum based alcohol). This is the first of its kind commercially marketed outside of DIY perfumes by small companies and individual crafters. Trust me - we have all tried! We can make a pretty scent bunt we we can’t get it to last. That’s where our professional perfumers came in, and they worked with our staff to make a perfume of just essential oils and also to find the perfect and safe extenders! It’s quite exciting!! The Best of Everything Cleaner!
One of my most FAQ's as a wellness advocate is what to look for a on a label to see if it's safe. It can be so confusing! Certain chemical and Latin names are safe but look scary, and reading a label can make your spin!! What is safe and what is not ?!?!?
Big red flag: MOST cleaners contain fragrance. And after all that you read above, you may wonder why I mention it, but please know, most "fragrance" out there is chemical soup. It's one of the MOST toxic things in cleaners today, and they make it hard for many many to breathe!
Basically, you want to avoid fake fragrance, parabens, sodium laurel or laureth sulfates, bleaches, and any product that is petroleum based, such as mineral oil, paraffin, and words that have ethyl, methyl, methanol, and butyl in them. And that's only part of the list! If I see a long lists of ingredients that I don't even understand, I put the product back. These ingredients, mixed with fake fragrance, make it hard to breathe and make the air in the rooms you just cleaned clinically toxic to your lungs.
It's too hard, this trying to figure out "if it's safe" or not - so I just buy from the company committed to full transparency. Thieves products not only work, they smell amazing, and they have been scientifically proven to clean and disinfect - right down to black mold cleaning. This is why it's my "best of everything" cleaner!
Do you walk around bare foot? Do you have a pet? Children?
