Is it time we re-think what we mean by "fragrance"? Or "perfume"?
If you know me, you know how I've been talking about the hidden dangers of perfume and fragrances. I've stopped using them, and now when I encounter them, I have a terrible time! My nose burns, my head hurts, it's hard to breathe. This, from the former Bath and Body queen who loooooooved her perfume!
Once I learned how hard these things are on our lungs, our endocrine system, and even the environment (synthetic fragrances are an environmental toxin per the EPA), I made the personally painful (emotionally!) decision to stop.
But I found a secret!
You know how much I love finding swaps for a healthier, low-tox lifestyle and my latest discovery has me super excited!
You might remember, in the past I’ve shared my thoughts about synthetic fragrances and the hidden hormone disrupting ingredients they often contain.
