This is SUCH a valuable oil that someone actually stole it from me. Yep, right out of my house one night while I had a class. Don't stoop to that level but do make sure you never run out!! (BTW. had she needed it and asked, I would have given it to her....)
If you're saying, ‘wait, don't we already have a Valor blend?', you're right! The Original Valor contains Rosewood essential oil. Rosewood became very hard to source sustainably and ethically, so Young Living created an alternate version of Valor using Cedarwood. Rosewood is a protected species, This alt version, sold from 2017 - 2024, is excellent - almost as good as the OG! So if you own that one - by all means use it!
Young Living worked hard to establish a sustainable and safe source of Rosewood in Brazil. Since establishing this source, the original Valor blend is now back!

BACKGROUND
Originally formulated by Young Living Founder D. Gary Young, the Valor blend is a long-standing member favorite. Its one-of-a-kind formula was inspired by historical writings about Roman soldiers who were said to apply plant extracts and botanicals to inspire courage and confidence before going into battle.

KEY INGREDIENTS
Each essential oil in the blend was carefully selected for its unique benefits, and when you combine them, you get a really wonderful, really emotionally supportive blend!
*Black Spruce: This oil is emotionally calming and grounding and has a rich, woodsy aroma that helps release emotional blocks and foster a sense of balance. It is also wonderful for muscles and joints!
*Blue Tansy: Blue Tansy is wonderful for calming the nervous system and has a lightly sweet, inspiring scent. Emotionally, this oil can help overcome anger, release negative emotions and promote a feeling of self-control
*Frankincense: Frankincense is calming, yet uplifting, and has an earthy aroma as well as immune support and skin-loving properties! This oil also has the ability to stimulate the limbic center of the brain, elevating the mind and mood and helping center the emotions.
*Rosewood: This oil is incredibly soothing and relaxing to both the mind and body! Rosewood has a rich, herbaceous scent that is grounding and strengthening
Using Original Valor for support can be as simple as applying some to your shoulders, the bottoms of your feet, the back of your neck, or anywhere that you're experiencing tension or a stressful tightness in your body. It's the ultimate diffuser oil with its deep, grounding fragrance.
One great technique is to place a drop or two of Valor between your wrists (palm-up side), and then hold them together for a few minutes. If you're taking time to relax, meditate, or work on your spiritual and emotional health, you can just hold your wrists together while you're sitting quietly.

Make a simple cologne roller or spray.
Get creative. - great additions include: Idaho Blue Spruce, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Northern Lights Black Spruce.
Add 5 drops to a large handful of massage oil and apply to the skin to relax tired muscles.
Whip up a DIY Massage Oil:
4oz pump bottle
20 drops Original Valor essential oil
10 drops Peppermint essential oil
10 drops Cypress essential oil
Carrier of choice
Make this Floral Bath Soak for a little self care and to give tense or tired muscles some TLC:
¼ cup pink Himalayan salt
¼ cup magnesium flakes
2 Tbsp sweet almond oil
5 drops Ylang Ylang
10 drops Original Valor
10 drops Tangerine
Optional: dried lavender, rose buds or eucalyptus leaves
Make this DIY Whipped Body Butter recipe:
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup pure organic shea butter
1 Tbsp Vitamin E oil
20 drops Frankincense
25 drops Original Valor
Melt together coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, then add in vitamin E oil and whisk.
Refrigerate until almost half solidified, then use a mixer to whip for 1 to 2 minutes until a fluffy consistency is achieved. Add in essential oils then place in a glass jar.
DIY Facial Serum:
Harness the power of Blue Tansy in this blend and make a DIY Facial Serum:
4oz glass dropper bottle
30 drops Original Valor
Optional 10-15 drops each: Frankincense or Elemi, Cedarwood (for dry skin), Geranium (for brightening), Manuka
Fill with carrier of choice
DIY idea with Goat Milk Soap base
2lb melt and pour soap base
½ cup powdered goat milk
2 Tbsp organic raw honey
1 Tbsp sweet almond oil
60 drops essential oils (Original Valor, Cedarwood, Lavender, alone or in combo!)
Soap molds
Chop soap base into cubes and melt using a double boiler. Whisk in all remaining ingredients and pour into soap molds. Option to add dried flowers. Let sit overnight
